Breathing, Posture, and Awareness at Jackson Park
On the first Saturday of the month, Rev. Gakudo Midgley of the Daiyuzenji Rinzai Zen Temple leads an introduction to seated meditation at Osaka Garden. The session runs from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, August 1, and covers upright posture, natural breathing, and focused awareness — practical fundamentals for cultivating calm attention. Registration is capped at 15 participants and recommended, though walk-ins are accepted if space allows. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel; cushions are provided. No dogs, food, or photography in the garden.
