Intro to Tandem Kayaking at Northerly Island

A morning tandem kayaking session on the Northerly Island Park Lagoon, where you paddle past prairie and wetland wildlife with downtown skyline views. Basic instruction and all equipment are included, and the program is open to anyone 8 and older (youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). If you register with a partner, use the "team" function to ensure you share the same tandem kayak; solo paddlers should instead sign up for the separate Intro to Solo Kayaking session. The class runs Thursday, August 6, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM — arrive at least 10 minutes early, dressed in quick-drying clothes with water and sunscreen.
