Intro to Tandem Kayaking at Northerly Island

A two-hour introduction to tandem kayaking on the Northerly Island Park Lagoon, where you paddle past prairie plantings, wetland wildlife, and downtown skyline views. The session on Monday, July 27, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM includes basic instruction and all equipment; just wear clothes that dry easily and bring water and sunscreen. Open to ages 8 and up, though anyone under 18 needs an adult along. If you register with a partner, use the team function to reserve a two-person boat together — solo paddlers should look for the separate Intro to Solo Kayaking session instead.
