Intro to Tandem Kayaking at Northerly Island

Intro to Tandem Kayaking at Northerly Island Park Lagoon teaches the basics of two-person paddling, with a route that takes in prairie and wetland wildlife plus downtown skyline views. The program runs Monday, July 27, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM, and all equipment is included in the registration fee. Paddlers of any experience level are welcome, though youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Plan to arrive at least ten minutes early and dress in quick-dry clothing; swimsuits are fine.
