Intro to Solo Kayaking at Northerly Island

A morning on the lagoon at Northerly Island, learning the basics of kayaking with the skyline as a backdrop and prairie and wetland wildlife nearby. This session on Thursday, July 30, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM is open to everyone 8 and older, including first-timers and experienced paddlers. All equipment and basic instruction are included in the registration fee; just bring water, sunscreen, and clothes that dry easily. Youth under 18 must come with an adult. This registration is for solo (one-person) kayaks only.
