Intro to Tandem Kayaking at Northerly Island

An introduction to tandem kayaking on the Northerly Island Park Lagoon, where the route takes you past prairie and wetland habitat with the skyline in the background. The Thursday morning session, July 30 from 8:30 to 11:00 AM, includes basic instruction and all equipment; you just need to bring water, sunscreen, and clothes that dry quickly. Open to anyone 8 and older, though minors must be with an adult. Registration covers a two-person boat—if you want a single kayak, sign up for the solo session instead.
