RiverLab: Canoe on the Lagoon at Garfield

A guided canoe paddle on the Garfield Park Lagoon, part of the Chicago Park District's RiverLab series aimed at reconnecting residents with the river. On Thursday evening, August 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, participants get basic instruction and all equipment—just bring comfortable clothes, water, and sunscreen. Beginners are welcome, though youth under 18 need an adult along. Arrive 15 minutes early.
