RiverLab: Canoe on the Lagoon at Garfield

A guided canoe paddle on the Garfield Park Lagoon, part of the Chicago Park District’s RiverLab series aimed at reconnecting residents with the city’s waterways. All equipment is included, basic instruction is provided, and beginners are welcome — just bring comfortable clothing, water, and sunscreen. The outing runs Wednesday, August 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and participants should plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Open to ages 3 and up, though youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
