Family Camping at Garfield

Family Camping at Garfield Park provides an overnight introduction to the outdoors for families, with staff leading tent setup, campfire cooking, and other activities from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning, August 22 to 23, 2026. The Park District supplies tents, sleeping bags, pads, dinner, and breakfast for up to six people. A packing list and schedule arrive by email the week before. Registration covers the full experience.
