Intro to Kayaking (Tandem) at Northerly Island

Learn the basics of tandem kayaking on the Northerly Island Park Lagoon, where prairie and wetland wildlife mix with skyline views. This two-hour session on Monday, August 10, from 4 to 6:30 PM includes basic instruction and all equipment; you just need to dress for the water and bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Everyone ages 8 and up is welcome, though youth under 18 must come with an adult. If you prefer a single kayak, a solo session runs at the same time.
