Intro to Solo Kayaking at Northerly Island

An introductory solo kayaking session on the Northerly Island Park Lagoon, where paddlers get basic instruction, equipment, and skyline views alongside prairie and wetland wildlife. The program runs Monday, August 3, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM, and is open to anyone 8 and up (minors must be with an adult). All gear is included in the registration fee; bring water, sunscreen, and clothes that dry easily. If you'd rather share a boat, look for the separate tandem session.
