Intro to Kayaking (Solo) at Northerly Island

A solo-kayak introduction at Northerly Island Park's lagoon, where paddlers get basics instruction and a chance to spot prairie and wetland wildlife against the skyline. The session runs Monday, August 10, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM, and all equipment is included in the registration fee. The program is open to ages 8 and up, though youth under 18 need an adult along. Dress for water and bring sunscreen — swimsuits are fine.
