Golden Hour at Northerly Island

Golden Hour at Northerly Island offers a hands-on evening of nature play, gardening, and art at the Northerly Island Visitor Center. Participants dig into the garden beds to help with the harvest, contribute to a potluck with the results, and make nature-inspired crafts. The program runs on select Wednesday evenings through October 23, with the next session on October 14 from 5 to 7 PM. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required—just show up and get your hands dirty. For questions or a heads-up that you're coming, email the park district.
