Writing in the Galleries: The Perfect Sentence
Writing in the Galleries invites you to do what writers rarely get to do in a museum: stop and work on a single sentence. During this Wednesday, August 19 session from noon to 1:30 PM, you pick a piece of art and spend the entire 90 minutes refining one sentence inspired by it — a deliberate, low-pressure exercise in revision. The program is free with museum admission, no registration required, and open to all experience levels. Folding stools are provided; bring your own notebook and pencil. Facilitator Molly Bryson, an exhibition interpretation specialist at the Art Institute, leads the session.
