In this session of Writing in the Galleries, we'll explore the art of revision and the value of perseverance. You'll write a sentence inspired by artwork and then spend the duration of the hour-and-a-half session perfecting it—or coming as close as you can!
Writing in the Galleries is a program series that invites visitors to write in response to the art they see. All experience levels are welcome! Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite notebook and pencil. Folding stools will be provided. Questions? Contact the facilitator, Sam Ramos, at sramos@artic.edu .
About the facilitator Sam Ramos is the director of Gallery Activation at the Art Institute of Chicago.
