We The People at Douglass

Hearing in Color's resident vocal ensemble Chroma brings a concert about belonging and justice to Douglass Park on Friday evening, October 16, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The program mixes contemporary classical works by Chicago composers like Ayanna Woods and Jalen Scott with reimagined favorites and selections inspired by artists like Beyoncé. A pre-show set from the Ravinia Lawndale Family Music School Adult Choir opens the evening; that ensemble is part of Ravinia's tuition-free Reach Teach Play program for Lawndale residents.
