NLCCC Annual Arts Festival at Douglass

North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council's annual arts festival returns to Douglass Park on Saturday, August 1, from 11 AM to 7 PM, filling the park with local performing and visual artists, culinary vendors, and jewelry and clothing sellers. The day includes the debut of new sculptural works from The Stories of Us, marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S., alongside a series of poems from One Lawndale Arts & Activism Incubator youth responding to the commissioned pieces. A straightforward community gathering with a solid lineup of West Side talent.
