NLCCC Annual Arts Festival at Douglass

North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council's annual arts festival returns to Douglass Park on Saturday, August 1, from 11 AM to 7 PM, bringing together local performers, visual artists selling original work, culinary vendors, and jewelry and clothing makers. The Stories of Us debuts new sculptural works marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S., and youth from the One Lawndale Arts & Activism Incubator present poems inspired by those pieces. A full-day neighborhood gathering with a mix of art, food, and live performances.
