Teen Summer Studio: Drawing as Abstraction

A one-day drawing workshop at the Art Institute for teens 13 to 18, tied to the *Willem de Kooning Drawing* exhibition. Participants experiment with charcoal, pastel, and crayon alongside other teen creatives in Studio B of the Ryan Learning Center on Thursday, August 6, from 11 AM to 4 PM. No prior experience needed, and all materials are provided. The program is free with museum admission, which is free for Chicago teens under 18 and all children under 14; registration is required. Participants can also return for drop-in open studio hours on Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, from 11 AM to 3 PM.
