Teen Studio Workshop: Experiments in Abstraction

Designed for teens ages 13 to 18, this free workshop at the Art Institute's Ryan Learning Center invites participants to tear, layer, and transform materials in ways that abandon the idea of a "right" result. The afternoon includes a visit to the *Beyond Form: Abstraction at Midcentury* exhibition for inspiration, and all materials are provided — no prior art experience needed. The workshop runs Saturday, September 26 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM; registration is required but free.
