Tea Ceremony Demonstration: Chabako Temae – Morning Session

An hour-long tea ceremony demonstration at the International Museum of Surgical Science on Sunday, October 25, starting at 11 AM, led by Alice Conlon of the Japanese Culture Center of Chicago. Conlon presents *chabako temae*, a portable tea-box form of matcha preparation, as part of the museum's exhibition *The Way of Tea: Objects, Practice, and Community*. The session includes the demonstration itself, followed by a Q&A period, and is supervised by Omar Francis Sensei, a certified Urasenke instructor. Tickets are $35.
