Unheard Voices of Care: Closing Reception

The closing reception for “Unheard Voices of Care” brings together music, food, and the most memorable stories from the exhibit’s run at the International Museum of Surgical Science. The Filipino American National Historical Society Greater Chicago Chapter (FANHSC) wraps up its residency on Sunday, August 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, with doors at 12:45 PM. Speakers and performers from the lecture and dramatic reading series return to revisit the narratives that shaped the show, celebrating the collaboration between FANHSC, CIRCA Pintig, and House of Nurses. The collection moves next to the Asian American Resource and Cultural Center at UIC and then to FANHSC’s Mana Contemporary studio, making this one of the last chances to see it in this space. Free and open to the public.
