RiverLab: Sunset Paddle at Park No. 571

RiverLab's sunset paddle on the Chicago River is a rare chance to see Bubbly Creek from the water while learning about its history and ecology. The Thursday, October 15 outing runs from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and yes, it gets dark — headlamps are provided. Participants need to arrive 15 minutes early, bring water and warm clothing, and children under 35 pounds must supply their own life vest. The fee covers equipment rental and instruction; ages 3 and up, and anyone under 18 must come with an adult.
