RiverLab: Canoe on the Lagoon at Garfield

A guided canoe paddle through the Garfield Park Lagoon, part of the Chicago Park District's RiverLab series aimed at reconnecting residents with the river. All equipment is included, and basic instruction is provided, so beginners are welcome alongside experienced paddlers. The session runs Thursday, August 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM; plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Comfortable clothing, water, and sunscreen are recommended. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
