RiverLab: Canoe on the Lagoon at Garfield

A guided canoe paddle on the Garfield Park Lagoon, part of the Chicago Park District's RiverLab program that aims to reconnect residents with the river. The Wednesday evening outing on August 19 runs from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and is beginner-friendly — basic instruction and all equipment are included in the registration fee. Participants should arrive 15 minutes early with comfortable clothing, water, and sunscreen. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult; ages 3 and up are welcome.
