
Proud and Loud: Disability Art and Music at Garfield
Proud and Loud is a new disability-led multi-arts showcase at Garfield Park on Saturday, September 19, from 10 AM to noon. Curated by Chicago artist and disability activist Genevieve Ramos, the morning includes a community mural project and performances from dancers, musicians, and performance artists. ASL interpretation is provided, and the event explicitly welcomes everyone regardless of background or ability.
