Morbid Curiosities! Surgical History Tour
The International Museum of Surgical Science opens its collection after hours for a guided tour that leans into the unsettling side of medical history. The Wednesday evening, October 7 tour from 6 to 8 PM covers ancient skulls, bone-saws, and bloodletting knives, with museum staff contextualizing the tools and the surgical art collection that accompanies them. The tour itself runs about an hour and involves four flights of stairs; a complimentary reception with light fare follows. Tickets are $30, with discounts for students and IMSS members.
