Member Lecture: Mary Cassatt—After Impressionism (Sat, Sept 5)

An additional member lecture on the Art Institute exhibition *Mary Cassatt: After Impressionism* has been added for Saturday, September 5, from 2 to 3 PM in Rubloff Auditorium. (The original Friday, September 4 session is sold out; another will be added Friday, September 11 at 11 AM, with registration opening August 22.) Curator Annelise K. Madsen will discuss Cassatt’s experimental years after the final Impressionist show in 1886—her color prints, her 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition mural, and her increasingly bold treatments of mothers and children.
