The Friday, September 4 member lecture on *Mary Cassatt: After Impressionism* at Rubloff Auditorium is sold out, but the Art Institute has added a second chance to hear curator Annelise K. Madsen talk about the artist's most innovative period on Friday, December 18, from 11 AM to noon. Madsen focuses on Cassatt's work from the late 1880s through the early 1900s—her experimental color prints, the theme of mothers and children, and the mural she painted for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Registration for the Friday, September 11 lecture opens on August 22. Free for members, with registration required.
