Kintsugi Workshop: Repair and Reconnect

A Kintsugi workshop at the International Museum of Surgical Science, where participants learn the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Led by multidisciplinary artist Mami Takahashi, the three-hour session on Sunday, October 11, from 12 PM to 3 PM, teaches a modern method using food-safe materials. Beginners get a plate to repair; those with experience can bring their own clean ceramics. All supplies are included in the $75 registration fee. The workshop is a solid, practical entry point into a contemplative craft — no experience required, just a willingness to work with epoxy.
