Joel Hall Dancers & Center: NextGen at Douglass

Joel Hall Dancers & Center brings a free evening of performance and participation to Douglass Park on Friday, October 23, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The program blends work from the company's main dancers and its Trainee Program, spotlighting emerging Chicago talent, plus a special guest set from the Douglass Park Performing Company performing "Respect," a Jazz Funk piece choreographed by Elaine McLaurin and Kirby Reed. After the performances, the audience is invited to join a public dance class — a low-pressure way to experience the choreography firsthand. Free and open to all.
