Hoop Dancing with Starr Chief Eagle at Douglass

Starr Chief Eagle presents an interactive evening exploring Lakota language, art, and knowledge at Douglass Park. The centerpiece is her performance of Hoop Dancing, a rare tradition where she uses up to 22 hoops to form designs, shapes, and creatures that tell a story. The Friday evening program runs from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and includes hands-on activities, with audience members invited on stage as Hoop Dance volunteers. Free and open to the public.
