Family Fishing at Douglass

A low-key Saturday morning fishing session at Douglass Park for families with kids 8 and older. The program on August 8 from 10 AM to 1 PM provides basic instruction, limited gear, and bait — no registration needed, just show up on the bridge over the lagoon along Burkhardt Drive. Children must come with an adult, and the focus is less on hauling in a big catch and more on learning about local fish and the lagoon ecosystem.
