English Language Learning (ELL/ESL) Course/Curso de Inglés

A free English language course for adults meets twice a week at the Portage-Cragin branch, starting Monday, September 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The small-group classes cover speaking, writing, listening, vocabulary, and grammar, with a focus on practical use — talking to supervisors, teachers, doctors, and neighbors. Attendance is encouraged for both Monday and Wednesday sessions each week. Space is limited; registration is required online. The library also provides sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations by request (14 business days' notice needed).
