Community Repair with Bevel & Kerf Woodworking

The Portage-Cragin branch hosts a free community repair event on Sunday, July 26, from 1 to 3 PM, where handy volunteers try to fix your broken furniture, appliances, clothing, electronics, and more. Drop off up to two items by 2 PM (nothing too heavy—no pianos or washing machines), browse the library while you wait, or sit with a volunteer to learn what they're doing. The team has experience in woodworking, computer and electronics repair, minor electrical work, tool repair, and clothing mending; if they can't fix something, they'll point you toward someone who might.
