Community Repair with Bevel & Kerf Woodworking

Bring furniture, appliances, clothing, electronics, or most anything else that needs fixing to this free community repair event, hosted by Bevel & Kerf Woodworking at the Portage-Cragin branch on Sunday, October 4, from 1 to 4 PM. Volunteer handypersons with experience in woodworking, computer repair, electronics, sewing, and more will assess and attempt repairs on the spot — or you can drop items off and pick them up later. Items must be easily moved (no pianos or washing machines) and submitted by 2 PM, and you're limited to two items per person. If something can't be fixed, they'll offer advice; if you just need guidance on a home project, stop by to talk it through.
