Community Repair with Bevel & Kerf Woodworking

Community Repair brings a team of handy volunteers to Portage-Cragin on Sunday, September 6, from 1 to 4 PM, offering free repairs for furniture, appliances, clothing, electronics, and most other items that can be carried in (no pianos or washing machines). Drop off up to two items by 2 PM so there's time to work on them, or sit with a volunteer to learn how the fix is done. The volunteers have backgrounds in woodwork, carpentry, computer and electronics repair, minor electrical work, and clothing mending — but they're not a professional repair center, so there's a risk of further damage and they will be honest about what they can't handle.
