Bon Festival at NPV

The North Park Village Nature Center hosts its annual Bon Festival on Saturday evening, August 15, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM, with performances by Asian Improv aRts Midwest. The program features taiko drumming, shinobue bamboo flute, and classical Japanese dance, drawing from festival music and theatrical traditions. It’s a chance to see these art forms in an outdoor setting that suits the reflective, communal spirit of the Obon season.
