Animal Tales at Big Marsh

A nature-inspired story time for the youngest explorers, hosted by the Chicago Public Library's Vodak-East Side Branch at Big Marsh Park. The 30-minute session runs Tuesday morning, October 27, from 11 AM to noon, and pairs stories with a hands-on activity that might involve meeting an animal, a short nature hike, or sensory and loose-parts stations. Open to youth and families, with kids 6 and under in mind. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are fine, and the 300-acre Natural Area and Bike Park is worth arriving early for or lingering after.
