Animal Tales at Big Marsh

Animal Tales brings the Chicago Public Library’s Vodak-East Side Branch out to Big Marsh Park for a nature-themed story time and hands-on activity session. The hour splits evenly: 30 minutes of stories, then 30 minutes of something tactile, which could mean meeting an animal, a short hike, or exploring sensory and loose-parts stations. Designed for kids 6 and under, the program runs Tuesday morning, September 29, from 11 AM to noon. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are fine, and the surrounding 300-acre Natural Area and Bike Park is worth exploring before or after. Free.
