Adult Book Discussion: The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer

The Portage-Cragin branch hosts a book discussion of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s *The Serviceberry*, a work that frames reciprocity and community through the lens of the natural world. Kimmerer, an Indigenous scientist, uses the serviceberry as a model for an economy built on relationships rather than scarcity. The group meets Monday, November 23, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Registration is active, and accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days’ notice by calling (312) 747-8184 or emailing access@chipublib.org.
