Your Story Matters: Storytelling Through Words and Art
A workshop at the Harold Washington Library Center that treats personal narrative as both a written and visual practice. Led by Dani Moon, the session begins with a poem by Gwendolyn Brooks, then moves through writing prompts inspired by Chilean *arpilleras* (story quilts). Participants turn their own stories into small mixed-media collages. No writing or art experience is required. The workshop runs Saturday, October 17, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
