Writing in the Galleries: The Pictorial and Proverbial (Dec 16)
The Writing in the Galleries series invites visitors to slow down and respond to art on view, this time inside *Jill Mulleady: The Passenger*. Using open-ended prompts, participants explore how Mulleady’s paintings draw on the same charged, ambiguous narratives that art historians have traced in Bruegel and Arbus. The session meets Wednesday, December 16, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, meeting in Gallery 289. Bring a notebook and pencil (materials and folding stools provided). Free with museum admission, no registration required.
