Write a Letter To America

Chicago Public Library is collecting handwritten letters from residents for a permanent archive—reflections, critiques, hopes, and stories rooted in Chicago experiences, all in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States. On Tuesday, August 18, from 11 AM to 1 PM, stop by the Grand Lobby of the Harold Washington Library Center with your ideas; paper and pens are provided. Your letter will be preserved in the library's archives for future generations to discover. Free and open to all.
