Write a Letter To America

Chicago Public Library invites residents to write personal letters to America — sharing reflections, critiques, hopes, and stories rooted in Chicago experiences — as part of a citywide initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The letters will be permanently archived in the library's collection for future generations. The pop-up takes place Monday, August 17, from 1 to 3 PM in the Grand Lobby of the Harold Washington Library Center. Paper and pens are provided; just bring your ideas. Free and open to all.
