Weird Book Club: The Vegetarian

Weird Book Club meets on the last Monday of every month at Map Room for discussions of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other strange fiction. This month, on Monday, October 26 from 7 to 8 PM, the group tackles Han Kang's *The Vegetarian*, about a woman whose decision to stop eating meat upends her life after a series of violent nightmares. The book is for adults 21 and over; copies are available at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Branch circulation desk while supplies last, and also as ebooks or eaudiobooks through Hoopla or Libby.
