Walking Tour | Union Park & Beyond

Historian and guide Connie Fairbanks leads a walking tour through the Near West Side and West Loop, covering sites connected to labor history, the Haymarket Affair, the birthplace of house music, and a church that doubled as City Hall after the Great Chicago Fire. The tour meets at the Carter Harrison Statue near Union Park on Saturday, September 19, at 4:00 PM, runs 60 to 90 minutes, and covers about a mile of sidewalk walking. Tickets are $25, or $22.50 for museum members, and include free admission to the Chicago History Museum for one week after the tour.
