Walking Tour | Sheffield Stroll
A Chicago History Museum guide leads a walking tour through the Sheffield/DePaul neighborhood on Sunday, October 18, starting at noon. The route covers the area's evolution from an immigrant and factory district to a Victorian-era enclave to its current university-adjacent character, with Italianate and Queen Anne architecture and Hollywood filming locations along the way. The 1.5- to 2-hour stroll ends at Kelly's Pub, where participants can grab a drink with the guide. The tour includes free museum admission for a week afterward. Meet at the street-level entrance of the Fullerton Red/Brown Line L stop. Free, but registration is required.
