
Walking Tour | Sheffield Stroll
A Chicago History Museum walking tour that explores the layers of the Sheffield/DePaul neighborhood, from its immigrant and factory past through its Victorian era to its current identity as a university hub. Led by volunteer guide Dave Gudewicz, the stroll takes in Italianate and Queen Anne architecture, sites used in Hollywood films, and ends at Kelly’s Pub. The tour meets at the Fullerton Red/Brown Line L stop on Sunday, September 20, at noon, runs 1.5 to 2 hours, and includes free museum admission for a week. Free, but registration is $25 ($22.50 for members).
