A walking tour of Old Town led by a Chicago History Museum volunteer, covering layers of neighborhood history from Potawatomi villages and German farms to a Puerto Rican enclave and the site of the first U.S. gay rights organization. On Saturday, October 17, at 10:00 AM, the 1.5- to 2-hour walk includes post-Fire landmarks like St. Michael’s Church and the Midwest Buddhist Temple. The $25 ticket ($22.50 for members) also grants free museum admission for a week. Meet at the Chicago History Museum; masks are optional for this outdoor tour.
