
Walking Tour | Historic Old Town
A walking tour of Old Town led by a Chicago History Museum volunteer, covering layers of neighborhood history from Potawatomi villages and German farms to Puerto Rican settlement, the nation's first gay rights organization, and the arts scene. The 1.5- to 2-hour walk on Saturday, September 26, at 10 AM stops at a post-Fire shelter cottage, the Midwest Buddhist Temple, St. Michael's Church, and other historic residences. The tour is $25 ($22.50 for members) and includes free museum admission valid for one week. Meet at the Chicago History Museum; masks are optional.
